Rock Bottom

Rock bottom.
Ice cold.
Fingertips grasping for something to hold.

Hang on tight.
It’s just begun.
A whirlwind of falling in & out of the glum.

Darkness around me.
But where is the light.
I knew it was close,
But to far to fight.

Muscles are weak.
Too small for this game.
I need something different,
To mend all this pain.

So I picked up the pieces.
And searched for a sign.
Something much bigger
Than I.

That’s when I found it.
Right there on the ground.
So blind and forgetful.
At least now I’m found.
