You have nothing to hide or cover up. If you are going to be completely exposed, expose yourself to our Lord, Jesus Christ, for He takes the garbage in your life and turns them into something beautiful. “To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.” Isaiah 61:3
Being reborn gives you a new heart. This new heart is more sensitive to the Spirit.
So when you do make a mistake it can be pretty hard to overcome sometimes, because you’ve experienced in some way the love of Christ and disappointing Him leaves you in pieces.
But thank Him for that merciful, merciful love! Remember who You are in Christ, what you stand for, and run to Him to help you!! He overcame for you, so remember that you are loved so much by Him, and though He is disappointed by an action you did or word you spoke, He is waiting for you to grab His hand and help you up.
Mistakes don’t define you, unless you let them devour & consume you. Don’t let the small amount of darkness cover the light, let the light that you are made of cover up all the darkness.
